Winter Views

Here's a touch of Idaho winter for all those not lucky enough to be here to enjoy it this year!

Valentines Project

My brother Corben and his girlfriend Cheyanne went to the High school dance this past saturday and I got to make their boutineer and corsage. I had so much fun making them and with a little help from one of the more experienced students I was able to make them look really good!
Doesn't my little brother look handsome in a suit, and Cheyanne looked like a princess, so beautiful!!! They had a great time!
I also got to do a little bit of work for valentines. Broulims floral department needed some extra hands to help with the flowers and so I got to help with arrangements and keeping flowers stocked up in the store. It was a lot of fun and I learned some cool new floral tricks.
I also got asked out on a date so that was an enexpected bonus. If I'd have known there were so many single guys working at broulims I might have hung out there more.
Last week we went to the BANFF Film Festival in Idaho Falls that is put on by the ski patrol each year as a fund raiser. I love to go and watch the movies that they bring in of all the different extreme sports that epole have filmed themselves doing. It always makes me wish I was more brave and adventurous. Through their travels I got to see many parts of Africa, parts of Europe and many snow covered mountains. Some of the people I thought were jsut plain crazy but others were absolutly amazing, like the guy who climbed a rock wall called the Rainbow with a bum leg and and arm that didn't work at all, it was crazy. I couldn't have made it up that wall with all my working limbs and he did it one handed!
This week I get to go see the schools production of Macbeth, I am very excited as it should be good as they always do such an excellent job.
Also my mom is having surgury tomarrow to fix a valve in her stomach. It should be a pretty easy surgury but she will be down for a while on doctors orders so I'll have to come up with some good meals to make.
I almost forgot, I cut off 13 inches of my hair!!!

Officially a Quarter Century Old

What a great weekend! my birthday was so much fun! I slept in and had a great breakfast. That afternoon Mom and I went and saw Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakqual. It was really cute. At 5:30 I went into town and picked up my cousin Acacia and my friend Jackie as we set off for Green Canyon to go swimming. I had about 21 people show up!
We swam and then once the little kids were getting tired and we were all hungry and wrinkled and completely water logged we got out and went and ate the taco soup and birthday cake we had brought with us. The cake was half strawberry and half chocolate and it was oh so yummy and moist!!! I got some fun presents but the best was getting to spend a fun filled evening with some of the people I like the best. I wish all of my favorite peole could have been there but alas Boise, Costa Mesa, Tennassee, Japan, Africa, Texas, Arizon, etc were just to far away, oh well just know you were all missed and that you missed out! HAHAHA!!! Any way, gotta go, I have homework to finish still.
These are our new dogs Ralph (border collie) and Lulu (Husky). Aren't they Cute!!!!

Three Days to go...

Life is GREAT!!! School is going great and I am learning lots and loving learning. I'm still not sure how it is even possible to enjoy every class for three semester in a row but I have and I hope it continues through the next three semesters (when I graduate!!!). I must be doing something right! I still don't have a full time job but I do have one lined up for valentines weekend helping at the Broulims Floral Shop (Big thanks to Erica for hooking me up!!!) and I am on with Lonepine to work this spring and summer, they are going to call when they get going with planting. I can hardly wait to get my hands back into the soil!
I finally decided what to do for my birthday, we are going swimming at Green Canyon. I am inviting abunch of people, it's a mile marker B-day and I plan to go into the next quarter century of my life with a "SPLASH"!!! Any hoo, I'll write more later and tell you all how it went!
